The blue files are frequently used files and all confined together (maximized seek times) and on the faster outer tracks of the drive (maximized data transfer). The purple files are files the user has specifically selected for absolute maximum performance. Seek times on this drive are ALWAYS around 1 to 2 mS compared with factory averages of around 13. Maintaining your drive like this only requires your PC to work 5 to 10 minutes every day (overnight on a scheduled run) to reorganize the drive a little based on your latest file usage patterns.
